Come birding with us!

To celebrate the Great Backyard Bird Count, we will be hosting a birding hike led by Dr. Peter Yaukey, experienced birder & Chair of the Department of Biological & Physical Sciences at the University of Holy Cross. On this hike, birders of all ages & experience levels can learn valuable birding tips while we spot & identify birds together

Binoculars are highly recommended (it can be hard to see those little birds!), but not necessary to attend. This event is open to the public & was sponsored by the Louisiana Board of Regents Speaking of Science program.
