If you want to learn to recognize and taste many of the common edible plants of the coastal Gulf South, this is the workshop for you. The workshop will be half-day field trip, where you can see the plants in their natural environment. You will be given BRF’s (Best Recognizing Features) for each plant plus other facts like parts used, etc.  You are encouraged to photograph, take notes, ask questions, and take specimens with you. A numbered checklist will be provided to each participant.
